Showing on the camera
IC requesting 4 additional state type 3 engines + 2 handcrews. Fire still very active, T-90 andT-91 now en-route from Porterville as the additional tankers.
Affirm, this is the Burson Fire, 2 acres with moderate rate of spread. 1 structure threatened.
The Burson Fire has had the forward rate of spread stopped, and not requesting any more resources. The Campo fire seems to be eating along pretty well though.
AA-460 reporting the fire continues to spot and is moving east, evacuation orders in progress for Loera Hills Rd off Waterford Rd now. IC ordered some additional Crews and Dozers.
Camera shows fire spotting well, may be a precursor of 2021 conditions.
It’s been awhile since we have had a fire like that this early in the unit. That was in the middle of a brush patch. Good dozer county but slow going. Your right it could get ugly when these fuels dry out. Campo Saco raws at Lake Camanche high was 89 today. Depending on the direction a fire runs in that area lot of structures to deal with. TCU’s update an hour ago was 150 acres, 0% contained.
Looked like they were burning off some lines over the last couple hours.
