UPDATE @ 2017 hrs. Heavy release of equipment, however I’m posting just in case this one takes off. Possible Forward progress has been stopped… Additional detail from any one would be great.

The Cooper Fire is all SRA in TCU between Don Pedro and Jamestown on J-59 and Cooperstown Road. It was a series of four fires all of which have had forward rate of spread stopped on. This area is grass and oak woodland. Have not heard final acreage but the largest of the four was 100 acres.

Don Pedro and Jamestown are no where near Lake Alpine. Lake Alpine is at 8500 feet near Ebbetts Pass. Anybody who can debunk and clarify?

I wouldn’t be surprised to hear of fires around Lake Alpine too. But they usually don’t get bigger than a hundred acres or so. Lots of rocks and green wet meadows.
