They were calling it the lake fire on the scanner and then local media reported it as the Floto fire

Local media has been a bit behind on names and acreage in the past. Not much information on this one, but you’ll usually get better info if you have a scanner. I think CalFire is calling this the Merced Fire.

SNF has a resource order for Floto so that would probably the correct name!
