Provo Cam seem locked on it.

USFS is listed it as smoke report Mt. Liz (elizibeth?) and Big Hill both.

Looks like on FlightRadar24, it shows that all aircraft have been released

Nice. Sounds like they’re getting ready to release some other crews as well.

I stand corrected, there is a spotter plane still orbiting N57112

Oh yes… That one… Lol. I’m so used to it being AA440… I wonder where he is… Haven’t seen him for a week or so.

Spot fires are all contained… Structure fire has been controlled… 4 to 5 hours commitment time for all resources on scene… Per scanner

Hi Trisha,

N57112 looks like more of a jump aircraft than a Otter. Is that a federal resource?

Early on I heard AA11 as the air attack of the air show. Maybe it’s a contract USFS. I know Fresno air base used AA15 for years.

I don’t know. I can ask around.

What were you listening to? I was on the app because I’m having trouble with my scanners but the TCU feed does not have air traffic. MMU does but I can only do one feed at a time on my phone. Ty

Is that a new designation? It used to frequently be AA505, sometimes other designators in the 500 numbers.

If it is a CWN or temporary hire aircraft they will use the last 3 of the N number as the radio identifier. N57112=AA112. 503 and 504 are the normal training platforms

Thank you for the further clarification on the aircraft roles and identifiers.

Sorry late reply but, AirTactics 22. The air to air traffic is how I know its a working fire and to pay attention to the location and number of tankers working it.
