The latest guidance shows winds easing quickly this evening. Westerly winds around 5 mph should transition to light northeast-to-east drainage winds after about 10 p.m., generally staying around 2–5 mph through daybreak. Terrain could channel those winds locally through drainages and around slope breaks.
The bigger concern tonight will be the limited humidity recovery. RH is near 20% this evening and is only expected to climb into the mid 30s before sunrise. Temperatures will also remain warm, gradually falling from the 90s this evening into the low-to-mid 70s by early morning.
By late Tuesday morning, winds should return to the west-northwest at around 5–8 mph, with humidity dropping back into the 20s and temperatures climbing toward 100 degrees.
I would also defer to the locals on this thread, as they know the area’s diurnal weather patterns best.
