CA-TCU-Oak?

New start in Valley springs near new hogan. Was reported in the area of oak knoll C.G. Haven’t heard a size up but camera shows a pretty decent column. Very familiar with the area as I am a 3rd generation family in valley springs. Lots of chamois, and grass, appears to be burning up canyon.

AA stated 10 to 15 acres MRS transition from the grass to the brush. That’s in the Chamise field and depending how it runs could go to lighter fuels. It has room to run saying potential for 100 to 150. Ships should have a field day with water source so close. Great Dozer country.

We have a ST from A&E so that should help in resources to the fire.

Should be the knoll incident. Started on S ranchero rd. Valley springs.

Head of the fire doesn’t throw spots down the hill in front of itself that would be a big positive. That area in Chamise has a history in holding spots for days.

Flight radar has Erickson Aero Tanker(TNKR103)on it. With what the have in the air and on ground they should make good progress on this fire.

Drone over the Fire all air operation are suspended for now! Prevention 4421 on it.

Fire was looking a lot better. See if it picks up again with aircraft not hammering it.

From the pics I have seen it burned dirty. They will be mopping it up for a few days because of that.
You still out of power? Both kids up the hill said it was on for about 3 hours and went off again.
