it’s actually on the ridge between Wagner Ridge and Jackass Ridge. Incense Cedar Trail and Painted Sky Rd. 3 to 5 acres in heavy timber, slash and understory. there are a couple of spots on the left shoulder in Div A. aircraft are gone now. hose lay was going in on the left flank and dozers are workin too.

5 acres with spots on left shoulder. Copters working two spots and AA reinforced with Tanker drops. Dozers were pushing line on both spots. That area was hit really hard by bug kill during the drought. Tons of snags still standing and heavy material on the ground. A lot of mop up. Dozer 4241(Coulterville) and 4445(Baseline) will make quick work pushing around the fire. ST from the STF was in Buck Meadows so that was a big help for engines. Long way up that hill! Good NW wind at my house today steady at 5 with gust to 15 and temp was 96 last time I looked. All aircraft are at base now AA flew by about 15 ago.

Sky is holding at 3 acres. they have line around the whole fire including the spots. keeping all the engines overnight due to heavy mop up. will reevaluate in the morning.

Good stop, TCU, MMU, and STF. That had potential to get ugly.
