The fire has now spotted across the railroad tracks & is now 3-5 acres w/ moderate rate of spread.

It will make it’s run out of there and should hit some grass on top. Crappy ground a lot rock, poison oak, white thorn, etc. Quick turn around time from Columbia for AT. The ridge it running is grass and rock for now. Hopefully the tankers can slow it down. That area has shallow soils and fires there like to spot. It dries out fast.

At the shoulder and west flank of the fire. The head got out in the grass and they clobbered it hard with everything. Took a video of the S2’s making some drops on west flank… Temp was 101 on the car. AA put a drop on the south side of the tracks when he first got there but it still spotted and it was on. For that area and that ground they made a timely stop… Power still on thank goodness!
