100 acres at 1205pm. Going to be open range grass with a little oak woodland peppered in there. Good iron and mobile attack country but very dry, in the wind and heat. If it gets up in the knobs it’ll be a long and gnarly fight.

1250: 250 acres, retardant holding on the left shoulder at the ridge (whew), mobile attack and copters hooking it on the right shoulder. Looking real good out there steering this into rock and wetline. The community of Chrome is the structure threat on the right shoulder, so far so good.
WX Grindstone Creek at Rd 306, 90F 17RH, ENE 4G11 (just south of incident but sheltered a little lower in the creek from winds on this fire)
WX PGE Newville Rd 92F 14RH NNW 5G11 (just north of incident on the other side of the Burrows Gap, reflective of conditions right on the east side of the ridge it’s holding on.)
