Hoping someone has some information on my first out-of-county assignment in 1990. I was on a strike team out of NYP, with 2316 as the leader.

I believe we settled in on a fire east of Dairyville, off Highway 99 near Dry Creek. It may have been called the Dry Creek Fire. I also believe it eventually merged with the Campbell Fire, just to the south.

Zeke, maybe you have an old map? FRAP only shows the Campbell Fire.

Was it Dry Creek or Dye Creek? Dye Creek comes into the Valley near Dairyville…

Dye Fire, as in Dye Creek Preserve. I was on the IA with a CDF (Inmate) Fire Crew out of the then new Valley View Fire Camp.
