This fire is on the reservation with their resources, plus an LPF engine per Wildcad. The Redgrove is close by and just adjacent to the rez border, near where the Windy Fire started in 2021.

I tried listening to the Scanner but everyone was going switching to the SQF channel.

Not much on the SQF command channel.
AA is over the fire dropping with S2 tankers.
I don’t see a defined smoke column. It’s laying down.
UPDATE @ 09:04, AA states 400 acres, almost boxed in with drops and dozer line.
Close to stopping the spread at the head.
FROS stopped and tankers released. Copter to remain for mopup.

@14:30 IC requests helitanker 37S to return for slope over in Div.M
Cobra crew 6 also enroute.
IC ordered AA410 and tanker to the fire @14:54
it’s so soupy off of Blue Ridge cam I can’t see a column.
@ 13:40 all aircraft released.

Spoke with a contact at SQF re: Redgrove. Single redwood, possible lightning strike, small ground fire controlled and will likely go into patrol status tomorrow.
Cow2 was reservation and CalFire incident in grass and in mopup/patrol status.
