Impressive

AA Surprised that 914 was assigned. They’ll take them, but “We’re at our max capacity here”

Kudos to MCC staff now…They are busy, no doubt!

As an AA you are NEVER at max capacity. Clear them into the FTA and tag on and extend. It’s a lot easier to build line with a bunch of tankers stacked up than to wait on a few on a load and return. Take advantage of the resources you have before you lose them. If you are overwhelmed, get a lead or an air tanker coordinator.

Anyone got the live feed? Look like it timed out

They have a Lead. That’s a pretty bold statement from someone that isn’t up there flying. No need to armchair during a busy and dynamic incident.

Is that a high school the fire is headed towards?

Yes, Foresthill High – Home of the Wildfires.

got the Iap/ maps?

So what is the “span of control” for a qualified and seasoned ATGS on a rapidly expanding incident? I wouldn’t post, on a public forum, that someone couldn’t handle a few more resources that are available and ready to use. Your feelings are a little to sensitive. Use EVERY resource available because it could go away in a second.
