When it comes to the aircraft, doesn’t matter if its USFS or CF. When the incident (ATGS) calls for more air tankers or helicopters, closest available A/C of the type requested will be dispatched. The bean counters will figure out the billing later. Since this is a USFS fire (Tahoe NF), the Feds will be paying. (The tanker you are referring to is Tanker 210, a Boeing 737 (former Southwest Airlines aircraft.))
