Vegetation fire, 2 acres, potential for 20. RROS. Structure threat. Closed section of West Ventura Blvd. Local airport restricted due to smoke. Fire is crossing Ventura Blvd towards airfield. Roads on all four sides.

Fire is holding at Springville and West Ventura. Copter 4 on scene helco. LACoFD copters 26 and 15 en route. Contingency structure groups positioned. Cancelling Air Attack and fixed wing, will handle with rotary.

1:50pm Releasing LACoFD resources (Copter15 and crew). Releasing VNC Copter4 and HT40.

1:58pm Forward progress stopped. Ordering full mop up.

3:19pm Fire mapped at 21 acres.
