Ops reports that if they don’t hook the fire within 15-20 minutes it has a chance to get in alignment and run up a bowl.

2006 Shekell Fire burned 13,600 acres in 3 days in that identical location. Difference being the Shekell Fire was in the first part of December during a Santa Ana wind event.

Guiberson Fire 2009 also burned adjacent to this…steep terrain in that canyon.

This fire is pretty much a done deal, very very steep terrain.

Forward progress stopped @ 8 acres w/ 20% containment.
