Burning here (oriented in same direction as prevailing winds). Surrounded by ag land, so limited potential but definite structure threat.

Facaciafire; Forward progress on the fire has been stopped and crews have a wet line around the fire. Firefighters and made a quick and aggressive attack on this fire with multiple engines, one of our handcrews, and coordinated water drops by our Firehawk helicopters.

Forward progress is only stopped because round mountain is locked in with ag fields on three sides and the college on the other side.
I’m listening to radio and have not heard forward Progress stopped. It is mainly backing towards the college and it’s about the only place it can go.

The fire is not a threat to spread unless the fire jumps about 2 mi of AG fields

The mountain fire jumped almost 2 miles of ag fields just a few months ago. Winds were a little stronger then.
