I’d be willing to bet they are going to keep hiring thru out the year in 2023, as spots come available they’re going to make calls off of this list that everyone just tested for. If you haven’t gotten a call maybe call the hotline and ensure that you have all of your documents on file to make you eligible for a job offer, aka class C license with FF endorsement or a CDL, a CPAT card that you’ve taken within the last year, and you hold a medical card of atleast PSFA or higher.

They will make offers through out the year. Just depends on the units you applied for - needs. You can always call the hotline and make sure all your required docs are in.

Anyone know where to check when are academy dates?
Once you been admitted into your academy, you will get an email notifying you. Next academy are set for Jan 9th. They have 7 week and 4 week academy’s. Hope this help answer your question

Hiring sent out an emails in regards to ff2 application today
Saw that. Hotline told me last week they were already making calls and that email would go out. Wondering if anyone has heard anything. No one I know has gotten a call.

Lots of phone calls went out last week. I know of 6 people that got offer in the 3 southern units for Perm 2 jobs. 4 accepted, 2 declined due to schooling or wanting additional experience in the specialty classification they currently work in.

How long is it taking to get email from region to send in clearance docs.?
BDU has a surplus of FAE’s still waiting on COA dates. They do have approximately 5-6 FF2 spots open.
Still lacking Captains. It sounds like every unit is hurting for Captains.
