So, I was helping my son fill out various apps Local Gov, Fed, and CALFire. Does CALFire always require a FF1 to apply?
You can apply for the firefighter position. The FF1 is required to be placed on an engine. Without the FF1, they will still be eligible for employment but only to a FF handcrew program.
