CO- Smoke in Northern Colorado

There was quite a bit of drift smoke visibe North of Ft Collins today (I thought there was a new start west of here). After searching around I determined it is the WY-MRF-Badger Creek fire. The smoke is visible in the latest radar loop.

Overview of the fires currently going in CO

It’s smokey in Boulder too. Bit of an orange ting to the sky

Probably a combination of the Badger Creek fire and all the other fires across Colorado… hopefully we get some of the predicted rain out of the tropical moisture moving in…and cooler temps!

Smoky again today after the new start in Grand Lake and others in CO and UT.

Hopefully this link will work. This is the fire temperature loop from GOES-16 (now GOES-East) of Colorado. 60 images 5 minutes apart.
