Community Slack Space

Hi all,

I wanted to share that Conversa Corps has stood up a broad online Slack workspace to provide the wildfire and other HA/DR communities a place to interact in the group chat environment. The goal of the space is to provide a community where teams can connect, build relationships, and prepare for the next disaster or fire. We are working with the Moore Foundation on their Wildfire Resiliency Initiative and would like to invite ALL of you to join the main space called Aid Arena. As incidents activate for large fires, or other disasters involving multiple teams, Conversa Corps will deploy out a Slack specifically for that incident. So we need your insights, and encourage you join the spaces.

Background:
Conversa Corps was created in February 2023 to bring a tradecraft developed in the DoD using large group chat to share intelligence and allow operational teams a space to quickly connect, build inter-team relationships, and ultimately respond faster and more effectively to crisis events worldwide. This model of using chat is making its way into the wildfire community now, but unlink FireNet, the Slack spaces provided by Conversa Corps are facilitated by trained staff and use a much more advance toolset to integrate data from sensor, alert and response systems. If this worked for combat for 25 years it can work for wildfire coordination.
