The Emergency Airworthiness Directive grounding the MD-11 fleet after the catastrophic UPS crash has been expanded to include the DC-10 fleet as well. 10 Tanker’s fleet is obviously impacted, and the implications of the loss of VLATs are more than somewhat concerning. Here’s the expanded EAD:
