With everyone being so well rested from the lack of extended attack incidents… I’d think this should be a banner year for prevention/fuels/trail work. Those other things the taxpayers expect from us. The job always entails hard work. The type of work just varies from year to year.

Glass half full Chicken. I like how you think. I know I have personally put in hundreds of hours on fuel breaks this year. It is definitely showing progress in our area. Hope everyone else is using their time to make their areas more defensible and/or returning fire to their landscapes.
