Thanks for the prompt replies. It sounds like the Union is fighting that 10% hard. My base rt now is 3650 on a 4/10 schedule with no planned OT. I commute 120 mi/day so we’ll see I guess.

Congrats! Anyone else not have the calfire basic cert? It wasn’t requirement at the time of app and test. I was 2 weeks away from obtaining it, then the pandemic happened.
I guess it’s safe to assume that I won’t be starting on the 22nd. Anyone else in the same boat? All I’ve got is a letter saying I have provisionally cleared medical.

A month ago. Yea, I saw that email today. I’m just glad my boss is cool with not having to give a full 2 weeks notice if and when I do get an actual start date.
copy. just be patient man. if you signed those papers for the ff2 offer than your good to go. I got the offer couple months ago and only now got my academy date for the 22 this monday! Im guessing its to do with units and covid situation.
Has anyone gotten any offers/start dates since the announcement of the new test? I’m assuming with the recent cuts there has to be a lot of movement here soon.

Yes I got a perm offer on august 9th not sure when I will go to FFA was told they are shooting for the august 17th one .
