"Fireline" (2023) Documentary

This is on Prime Video right now.

Quotable Pictures in partnership with the California Fire Foundation. Documentary of the Dixie Fire with interviews. Follows an engine crew through some of the action. Directed by Tylor Norwood. More face time with ffs and less melodrama than some others. Cool to hear some of the things the crews and companies had to say about what they were doing while we were all following the action on the medias and maps and such. A big thank you to everyone involved.

Just watched it. Good story, liked that it wasn’t sensationalized, just the gritty real stuff that happens on the line. Was assigned to supply water to elements of that strike team a few days after their stand in Janesville and again in other divisions.
Best regards to the guys in LMU.

As a retired 25 year LMU employee (2003), I especially liked a solid documentation on what goes on on the fireline. Everytime I go back to Susanville now and I look at those burn scars on the mountain and remember when they were all green.
