GIS volunteer opportunities?

Are there any places that need a volunteer with GIS experience?

I have worked in GIS for nearly 20 years, recently worked for Caltrans at their headquarters in Sacramento, worked with CalFIRE in San Luis Obispo–did some Network Analyst and some GPS for draft Incident Action Plan. Have done GIS mapping for a couple of other Emergency Response Centers for non-fire related issues.

Have Resume and samples of work.

Thanks,

Daniel

Hello,
Are you still looking to volunteer?

Yes.

Have a laptop with ArcGIS 10.8, subscription to ArcGIS Online/Pro, and Office 365.

What do you have in mind?

Do you have a contact information that I can reach out to you?

You could contact your local National Forest, BLM Office, or national park and ask about signing up as an AD GISS trainee.

What is an AD GISS trainee?

Would it help me if I was enrolled in a GIS Certificate program?

Please clarify more as I am in a very financially tight situation due to Identity Theft/Fraud and need to find employment ASAP.

Please contact me at danty64@gmail.com for a Resume.

Thank you,
