This beast has been going since around 2 am, looks like it might impact structures. phone been ringing a lot on this one. So far no threat to US

Thats way south of Tecate, Rosarito and Valle Guadalupe are having fire impacts last night and this morning.

That’s another fire just outside of tecate, also two south of Tijuana. The biggest one is nearer to rosarito.

Per AA recon multiple fires in Mexico, closest is burning east of Marron Valley, 1/4 mi south of the border. But has the Border 8 burn scare North of it.

We don’t often hear much from Mexico, but unfortunately 3 people have died in the fires south of the border. Info from CBS news 8 in San Diego.

Condolences to our neighbors to the south. Mexico gets a lot of bad press from the U.S. but there are so many wonderful, humble people there . . . I hope they catch these fires without any further losses. Descansen en paz!
