Multiple starts around Carson City

Multiple downstrikes and new starts around the east side of Carson city.

  • Prison hill is the largest, on the ridge top pushing east.
  • Reports of other starts in the deer run / Brunswick canyon area.
    -Temps in the 90’s, RH’s in low 20’s, active cells with little to no rain

Did not get enough moisture. Rain has passed by. Evacuations will be next.

Activity on the prison hill fire seems to be diminishing. The Brunswick Canyon fire is still active

Prison hill fire reported to be 600 acres as of 10:00 last night
Brunswick fire reported to be 30 acres

Prison hill fire looks done at 171 acres
Brunswick in mop up and patrol at 37 acres
Still more starts occurring, all mostly small, entire area under red flags with LAL of 6 tonight into midday tomorrow
