Been following this for a couple days. I’ve worked quite a bit in Yuba County and always pictured Colgate Powerhouse as being some sort of minor installation. I had no idea that it was half the capacity of Hyatt PH at Lake Oroville, at 315Mw.
There were five individuals working in the powerhouse area when the disaster occurred. They were rescued by Cal Fire NEU and CF helicopters. One was hospitalized.
