I personally know 2 people who are in the process of setting up their businesses to begin doing inspections. The law is very loosely worded and may need to be further refined.
CalFire can authorize FS employees to conduct LE-100 inspections. I would assume they could do the same with LG employees. That would lighten the load considerably
