NJFFS and local VFD’s have been doing an epic job of structure protection.
This fire is just outside Lakehurst NAS and if it gets onto FRA then they’ll just let it burn into the impact areas.

WILDFIRE UPDATE: Manchester Township – Jimmy’s Waterhole Fire
The New Jersey Forest Fire Service continues to make substantial progress in containing a wildfire in Manchester Township on federal, state and private property which has reached 3,859 acres in size and is 75% contained.
Structures are no longer threatened.
ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE
Horicon Ave reopening at 9 p.m.
Beckerville East Road and Beckerville West Road reopening at 9 p.m.
Forest Fire Service personnel will continue working to improve containment lines on Route 539, Route 70, Horicon Ave and Beckerville road. Please stay vigilant when driving through smoke conditions as firefighters may be working on the side of the road.
