I don’t mean to be picky but New Pass is Northwest of Austin not Northeast.
New Pass Peak is near 39.647972, -117.487575 (or in DDM 39 38.88 N, 117 29.25 W)
The Fairview camera is pointed toward these coords and there is a lot of fire out there.

Current Situation:
The fire stayed within its footprint yesterday and fire behavior continued to decrease. In the absence of extreme weather, no new fire growth is expected.
Suppression repair is completed on the western boundary of the fire and that side will be unstaffed. On the north and east sides, crews are nearly done mopping up the fire line and suppression repair is well underway, including beginning road repair. On the southern edge, there are a few days of mopping up still to complete; suppression repair has begun.
With the decrease in fire activity and no new expected growth, today will be the last update for the fire. Sierra Front/Nevada Team 5 will stay on the New Pass Fire through Thursday and will hand the fire back to the local agency on Friday.
