Update on Bootleg Fire burning on Chiloquin Ranger District
The fire is estimated to be 3,000 acres tonight with no containment. It was reported around 1:45 p.m. today and the cause is under investigation.

OSFM mobilized three task forces from Marion, Polk, and Yamhill Counties, as well as our Green Incident Management Team (IMT). They are headed to the #BootlegFire in Klamath County.

A drier air mass combined with gusty winds will lead to critical fire weather conditions across the Modoc today. These conditions are likely Thursday afternoon and evening across the Modoc, Fremont-Winema National Forest, and portions of Klamath National Forest.
This includes areas surrounding the
JuniperFire, TennantFire, and BootlegFire.
