9/4 Update:
61,433 Acres @ 0% Containment - Smoke is impacting Bend/Redmond today.
“After a lightning storm moved through the area on Monday Sep. 2, causing multiple starts, local resources quickly responded. This includes multiple federal, state, and Rural Fire Protection resources. Wind associated with the storm system caused the fire to spread quickly though the dry brush and grass.”
