Hot and dry conditions continue for the region, with the heat
expected to peak tomorrow and Saturday. Winds will be light and
terrain-driven, however RH recoveries will continue to be poor.
Unstable conditions may also promote extreme fire behavior
tomorrow into Saturday given the ongoing heat. There will also be
a slight chance of thunderstorms Saturday evening.

Yes they will…We had some lightning here in Bend last night and more forecasted this weekend in Central Oregon. Hopefully more favorable WX later next week.
