Not seeing this one posted and I’m still confused if it’s a #CAWILDFIRES or #ORFIRE

Rain helped slow the #WardFire (18 mi SW of Klamath Falls), which is currently at about 1,329 acres with 17% containment. Lightning cited as cause.

18 miles SW would place it in California, depending upon what your reference point is in KF.

From Sit Report:

Ward, Klamath Unit, ODF. IMT 1 (ODF Team 2). Thirteen miles west of Keno, OR. Timber and brush. Minimal fire behavior with smoldering. Precipitation occurred over the fire area yesterday.

1328 acres. 0% container. 125 total personnel at scene.
