How about a bunch of Firefighter retiree strike teams? Or atleast put them in Dispatch and Expanded or Fire Camp to handle some jobs in Camp so the safety folks can go fight fire?
I remember, in the ole days putting a bunch of 55 gal drums full of water on a stakeside and staffing a station. We haven’t had a good drawdown in a long time.

We already are, every RA i know of is working right now too. Give your old unit a call and see if they can push the paperwork for an RA Gig.

Been doing ATGS assignments since retirement 2003. Just finished two weeks working for Rocky Mountain (Region 2)
