Anyone know anything about wildfire issues in Korea and want to come on The Lookout to talk about it?

The largest fire has burned about 525 square miles (335,000 acres), and it is still active on the flanks. The head hit the ocean in the first burning period. Here is a network link KML (use in Google Earth Pro) for Asia and Russia VIIRS heat detections. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/s9zst577mw605wbo2rmqv/ASIA-VIIRS_Network_Links_smaller_icons.kmz?rlkey=y4o4wt7v8sb88hjzjxu1i7xv3&dl=0

I looked around the news world after seeing Zeke’s post, and I found that while there were articles of various ages, even ones less than an hour old were woefully behind on the data. They listed only a small percentage of area burned.
Welcome to a terrified new world.
