An upper level low moving into the Baja/Southern AZ region next week could provide a lot of mid level diffluence as it merges with the jet stream. With a significant lack of low level moisture due to a non existent start to the monsoon season, there will be a threat of dry lightning strikes over much of the inner mountain west. The storm prediction center is already highlightning the potential for delineations for later next week.
