Anyone know if 914 had some type of issue, they were at the slink fire then headed back to Santa Maria but detoured south, they passed my location and jettisoned a load of retardant on the backside of Burrough mountain just east of tollhouse.

It was up here on the Dolan fire, got 1/2 the line done, then went back to SMX and turned off engines. Visibility had decreased here due to smoke.

they didn’t even drop on the slink fire from what I gather due to smoke and they can’t jettison retardant over wilderness or Yosemite unless it’s an emergency, made for an interesting 5 minutes and people in tollhouse got to see some excellent maneuvering of that bird.
