Talk about being in the right place at the right time. He got some good drone footage before 408 showed up.

I am confused as to why 408 dropped across the road/fire-front rather than along it, granted it wasn’t much of a spot BUT looking at the terrain, I would say it might have had potential and a drop across the head ( such as it was) would have sealed the deal.
Question ? Doesn’t 408 have a line crew they could have set down?
408 is based about 1/2 mile from the loop at Keene so they most likely just lifted without the crew and took the opportunity to drop on targets of opportunity that area has ranch roads that run along a lot of the loop.
