Greetings fellow USFS Forestry Technicians. Just wanted to make anyone who may not be aware that in November we lose our boot stipend. So if you need boots get them soon. Don’t know the definite drop dead date but I was told November.

Some forests have a local union agreement that would change the boot stipend, that might be what is expiring for you.

Found a copy of the MOU. Region 6 has an expiration date? Don’t know if this applies nationwide or not.
So this means it is not going away??
