Nothing shows up on Flightradar or ADS-B Exchange. There might not be flying many tankers or copters today due to thundercells in the area of the fire.

Probably an area where there are no ground receivers to record the aircraft and send the information on to the flight programs. At one time I supported a ground station with power and internet to relay those signals.

According to the “Hotshot Wakeup” The fire is 71,000 with over 100 structures damaged or destroyed. They had an operational shutdown due to lack of food and water.

The IR map from last night 6/26 @ 2327 puts it at 92,255 with lots of intense on the NW an NE. Probably going to be another rough day

Wow, all that acreage and NO containment. A work stoppage due to the lack of food and water for responders. I hope people/agencies take time to reflect on this incident and figure out what went right and what went wrong.

A fire that large and going for that long should never have experienced that. Hoping for more to the story. The firefighters and public there deserve better.

It is the same team that first took the fire and they have a few days left before it’ll transition to another complex team. If you have Watch Duty, you can scroll back to the beginning and see who had it and see the progression.
