I keep hearing WT xx (52? 57?) going in quarters station 20. Is this possibly part of some staffing pattern to hire a WT for state mission or maybe they just went there for some other reason?

How often does this happen? Never heard of it before. Are they worried the FDs will not be able to cover WTs quickly/at all?
It’s pretty simple it’s because they are on drawdown and it has happened before
All CALFIRE units were told to hire 2 CWN Tactical WT’s (2 Drivers) per unit. Plan was to merry them up with CWN dozers so that manager could manage all of the CWN resources. These WT’s were made available to anywhere in the state.

OPH WT-52 is staffed with OPH personell but is at this time a state resource assigned to NEU Station 20 in Nevada City. It is currently in quarters with Cal Fire E-2352. When it was ordered I was told it was to fulfill a mission to provide coverage due to max draw down in NEU as well as some of the other local agencies who are at max draw down. It is not on order because the were fearful we could not staff it for IA. There are still several other local agency WT’s available within Nevada County.
