I know this is an old thread but just wanted offer a little insight on the bullfrog fire. The start of the bullfrog fire Co insides with a pyro cb event that started on the northeast portion and generated lightning in the area of the bullfrog fire. this was also what caused the peckinpaw fire on September 5th and would merge with the creek fire. The creek would have never been the largest because it literally ran out of fuel on the north and east sides.
