For those who know, is this inside the Station footprint and if so, what is the regrowth like?

Not in that footprint, but chaparral returns to pre-fire levels in as quick as a few years. Fire history has largely no effect

I was there in 2009 so I’d imagine it is plentiful at this point.

Based on the watch duty location and AGOL California Fire Perimeters 1878 - 2021 layer, it looks like the last fire was the SAN GABRIEL (1919)

I gave contact with crew member on a LACoFD Patrol assigned to this incident. They say the burning intensity is lessening now.

a lot of burn history in area…,still tough terrain. will only catch it on ridges: tough going guys, stay safe and hydrated…heads up…
