I say keep them coming. The California fire service is very young and lacks experience. While learning about fire behavior and fire weather from pictures isn’t ideal, it at least gives the new firefighters and company officers an opportunity to see some stuff prior to having to make decisions on the line.

Swp1983, you are correct we burn every year, but there are numerous new employees in every agency. Not to mention the fact that one fire does not make you a fire god. Keep everyone safe, because all SARTS suck, but, fatality SARTS suck the most.
