CA-BDF-Radford??

This will be a very difficult fire to hold in IA.
*poor access
*heavy fuels with no recent fire history in the immediate fire area.
*shifting winds
*high potential for growth after the sun goes down with wind patterns, heavy fuels and difficult terrain. Along with poor RH recovery in Santa Ana drainage.
I hope the folks are able to grab this one.

Per BDF Helicopter 535 was doing lightning recon when they discovered this fire as it was taking off.
