Interesting that the article didn’t mention anything about the reports of drone activity keeping air assets off the fire early on… any idea if those reports were accurate?

It is highly possible that I am mistaken, yet from personally monitoring the radio traffic, there was 2 or 3 occasions where it was thought to be drones in the airspace, later identified by AA as white cranes/ great egret birds lake hopping in the lakes below snow meadows, in front of the expanding incident.

Still entirely possible about uav’s as well…
