Just got off the phone with my brother, who is working the fire in Chester. He said that the fire made a hard push to airport road, but no structures lost. Now it is burning through the junkyard across from the airport and out behind collins. He said that aside from cedar chalet there are no structures lost at this point. They will be setting up to do structure protection in martin ranch next.

Chester RAW has gusts 9-22mph (last four hours)… still strong winds out of the south.
Several hundred acre spot fire just west of Widow Lake, just reported on the radio
