Looking like Christmas Valley and Meyers are under new evac warnings, evac orders to Echo Summit
The evacuations have been expanded to the top of Echo Summit. Christmas Valley has moved to voluntary evacuation warning. Expected to change to mandatory later today or tonight. I know this because a friend was just notified via Sherriff coming to the door. Here’s the official word per Office of Emergency Services
Zeke Lunder is always a good source. This is via twitter, but he has a blog called the Lookout which is excellent. https://twitter.com/wildland_zko/status/1431008295414767617?s=20

You can get the code red app. Lots of info on Twitter and Facebook
So headed towards Lyons creek it sounds like I remember that was burned out in early 80s.
Wright’s Fire?
Sounds right. I was there in 79 taking photos and was devastated when it burned up not long after.
I believe it burned in in the early 80’s. I worked at El Dorado CDF and thought we were going to the Wrights
fire but we went to the Buchanan Mine fire in Tuolumne City. Could see the Wright’s lake header from that fire.
I’m guessing a burn show going on in Sly park? Always Impressive at night. Hopefully tying in that west end in to the canyon.
Branch 1 looking for 10 additional engines for structure threat, reporting to Sly Park Rd & Meadowlark Way if they get them.
Sounds like they are working hard to protect structures along Sly Park Road.
EDSO instructing its folks to avoid the area.
